The VanDusen Park Collection

A dear friend, Kathie, summered in Vancouver, and I was delighted to get to visit her one year. This part of British Columbia is known the world over for its public gardens, but Kathies personal property was nothing to overlook. She kept an absolutely darling garden and would cut flowers every few days to refill the vases in the house. My favorites were a fistful of blue hydrangeas from the bush by the front porch–they lasted for more than a week, and then Kathie hung them upside down to dry them.

Our VanDusen Park Collection, a charming bouquet of blue hydrangeas and their leaves, will last even longer than Kathies dried version–thats because ours has been createdby artists out of silk fabric. Itll look just as fresh in a year as it does now.
